Quang Phu Cau Incense Village - Rhapsody in Red We pick you up at your hotel and head out of Hanoi by car at 8:30am, arriving in Quang Phu Cau at around 10am. By this time, the villagers have already set out incense to dry in various formations, and we’ll get pictures of people working among this sea of red. We’ll have time to capture a variety of shots of the workers in action. We also venture further into the village workshops, shooting images of the incense-making process, including bamboo chopping, dipping the sticks in dye, and the creation of incense paste. We’ll take more images of the friendly locals who have worked on producing incense in this village for generations. We leave the village at noon and head back to Hanoi around 12h30pm

The 250 reinforced tempered glass panels used for the floor of the bridge were commissioned from the French Saint-Gobain group, which had them made by a specialist partner in India. They consist of several layers of vinyl incorporated into a laminated pane, a technique used in regions hit by cyclones and hurricanes. Announced as highly resistant (just as well!), the structure is calibrated to be able to hold up to 450 people at once

8:30: pick up at your hotel to depart for Ninh Binh province (100km) for our day tour of Bai Dinh pagoda & Trang An ecosystem. We spend time to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Viet- nam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters height, 100 tons weight. Have lunch at local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel. Continue to visit Trang An tourist attraction nearby, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Halong on land of Ninh Binh. Late afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. End this tour of Trang An – Bai Dinh Pagoda
A 90km drive south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued in the site that used to be the kings‟ palace in 10th century and now famous for the wooden relieves of the shady Dinh and Le temples. Late afternoon back to Hanoi.

Morning, transfer to Van Phc Village - is situated on the bank of Nhue River, 10km from Hanoi on the southwest motorway. The village is in the centre of Ha Dong Town, Ha Tay Province, and the biggest silk production village in Vietnam. The sound of looms has filled Van Phuc for a thousand years, and is a touching sound to villagers when returning from far away. Witness the art and craftsmanship involved in weaving silk, learn about the process of making silk. Stop by the ancient shrines of the village and take the opportunity to purchase high-quality silk products before your return to Hanoi.
This is the night out in Hanoi which will show you different sights of Hanoi: Enjoy a traditional theatrical performance followed by traditional Vietnamese cuisine at a famous restaurant – a great evening. The tradition of water puppet theatre stems from a time when rice paddy fields were flooded and villagers would make entertainment by standing in the waist-deep water with the puppets performing over the water. Shows at this modern theatre are performed in a pool of water as the stage for the puppets. The puppets are controlled by no more than eight puppeteers hiding behind a bamboo screen. The renowned Thang Long Water Puppet show is considered to be one of the cultural highlights of Northern Vietnam dating back to a tradition that first started in the Red River Delta
